A super sweet wedding is making its way onto the blog today and I could not be more excited to share! Brooke and Remco tied the knot last September and the day was honestly perfect! They had originally planned to get married in May but due to covid their day was pushed back a few months, but that also meant they could have all the friends and family they wanted in attendance there.
This wedding is full of stunning details, beautiful portraits and Brooke and Remco’s adorable dog! I also had the pleasure of capturing their engagement session in 2020 which included a baby cow, one of my all time favourite engagement session memories and you can check out that session on the blog here!
We began the day capturing Brooke’s beautiful gown and details, I loved that she had a bridal cape instead of a veil. It is a wedding trend I have been seeing more of and I am so in love!
We then dove right into the first look, which is always a favourite moment of mine at every wedding! Following that, we heading into downtown St Mary’s to Milt Dunnell Field to capture wedding party and bride and groom portraits. It is such a stunning park and it was also the first time I got to walk up to the huge bridge, which had the most amazing view!
Once we finished up portraits, it was family photo time where we also captured some images with Brooke and Remco’s sweet pup! Who if you were curious is part corgi so I was pretty obsessed.
The ceremony was next as we headed back to Brooke’s parents home. Their ceremony was set up on the front lawn with the horses in the background and it was full of smiles and laughs! Plus Brooke and Remco’s exit is one of my all time favourite wedding moments. I love when couple opt to have confetti thrown as they walk back down the aisle and in this case it was 100% biodegradable!
With one more location change, we headed to the Stratford Country Club for their reception. It was full of hilarious speeches, tons of sweet candid moments and a pretty epic night photo to end off the evening!
Congratulations Brooke and Remco! I wish you both so much happiness in your lives together!
