Happy 8 Year Anniversary to my fiancé

A couple of weeks ago I shared a personal blog post wishing my fiancé a very happy birthday. In that post I mentioned that our anniversary was coming up at the beginning of April so today I am wishing my fiancé a very happy anniversary!
It is so crazy to believe that we have been together for 8 years! 8 amazing years, we first met in grade 11 art class where we became friends. It wasn’t until April of grade 12 that we started officially dating and now we have been engaged for about a year and a half and are getting married in May! We have been through so much in our 8 years together, getting both of our careers set up, moving in together, getting a puppy and planning a wedding!
I can remember back to the day he asked me out to Prom over MSN Messenger, which seemed silly at the time but is kind of romantic now in a weird sort of way because it no longer exists! Shortly after, he actually asked me to be his girlfriend, in person this time 😛
I remember the exact moment he asked me out. It was April 1st 2009, we were sitting in the computer room of my dad’s house listening to Gimme Sympathy by Metric (which is also our first dance song for our wedding!). Ever since that moment we have been together and I couldn’t be happier or luckier to have this amazing guy in my life!
I also mentioned in the last blog post that Tylor is my rock, but that is the best way to describe him! He has been here for everything big that has happened in my life and of course in our lives together!
I can’t even wait to marry this guy in a little under two months (which is crazy to think about!) and here is to many more amazing anniversaries to come!
