Happy 4th Birthday Samson!

Guys it’s Samson’s 4th birthday on October 4th and I may be writing this blog post through tears! How is my baby already 4 years old, I always thought it was so ridiculous when people got worked up about their pets and kids ages but now I am starting to understand that feeling all to well! It is so hard to believe that my little Sammy is already 4, it feels like just yesterday that we hopped in the car for the 12 hour total drive to go pick this cutie up at only 8 weeks old.
The story of how we got Samson is an interesting one and in honour of his birthday blog post I figured I would share it for those who don’t know. Back in 2015, Tylor and I had been talking about getting a dog for a little while but never really did any research or acted on it at all but one night I was on Kijiji looking up corgi puppies and a breeder popped up. They were posting that they had an accidental litter and had 4 boys and 3 girls up for adoption, I turned to Tylor and we both agreed that if they had a puppy left when we messaged them that it was meant to be and we would be getting a puppy!
Well lucky for us I was the first person to message the breeder and we set the date for November 21st 2015 to make the 6 hour drive up to Eganville and a 6 hour drive back in one day to pick up Samson! I remember getting there and just seeing him walk around the corner, I called him a little potato because that is honestly what he looked like. He was so tiny and I fell in love immediately!
Flash forward to today and I could not imagine our lives without this guy, he makes us laugh, keeps us active and cuddles every once and awhile when he feels like it (although I could do with more cuddles)!
